Tired & Heavy Legs
Rhythmic compression can provide a refreshing sense of relief when the feet and lower legs feel tired or heavy after prolonged standing or sitting.

Give tired, heavy legs 20 minutes to reset with gentle, rhythmic air compression around the feet and calves while you simply sit back and relax.
Half-Leg Pressotherapy uses inflatable compression garments fitted around the feet and calves. As the chambers inflate and release, controlled pressure gently compresses the lower legs in a rhythmic cycle.
This mechanical compression supports circulation and the movement of fluid through the lower extremities, making the session especially appealing after long periods of standing or sitting, physical activity, travel, or whenever the legs are feeling tired and heavy.
The entire experience is passive—you simply recline while the equipment does the work.
Our feet and lower legs carry us through long workdays, workouts, travel and everyday life. Pressotherapy offers a simple way to give them focused attention without adding more work for your body.
Rhythmic compression can provide a refreshing sense of relief when the feet and lower legs feel tired or heavy after prolonged standing or sitting.
Repeated inflation and release creates a mechanical pumping action that supports blood flow through the lower extremities.
Pneumatic compression can assist the movement of accumulated fluid and is used clinically in certain forms of lower-extremity edema management.
After running, hiking, training or a physically demanding day, compression can be incorporated into a recovery routine to help tired lower-leg muscles relax and recover.
Settle into the reclining chair with your feet and lower legs comfortably supported.
The garments are secured around the feet and calves, and the appropriate compression mode and intensity are selected.
Feel the garments gently and rhythmically inflate and release while you rest. When the programmed cycle finishes, the garments are removed and you're ready to continue your day—or your next Vitalara therapy.
The sensation is a repeated, controlled squeeze and release around the feet and calves—firm enough to feel the compression working, but intended to remain comfortable.
There is nothing you need to do during the session. You remain seated or reclined while the machine moves through its 20-minute cycle, making pressotherapy an easy treatment to enjoy on its own or as part of a larger Vitalara wellness experience.

Vitalara uses the Fit KING FT-009A Air Compression Leg Massager, a two-chamber pneumatic compression system designed specifically for the feet and calves.
The system offers two compression modes—Sequence and Circulation—with adjustable pressure and an automatic 20-minute treatment cycle.
Half-Leg Pressotherapy can be booked as its own 20-minute session, but at Vitalara it is also frequently incorporated into a larger sequence of therapies.
Because the treatment is passive and focused on the feet and calves, it can fit naturally into a broader wellness or recovery experience selected around the individual.
It's also one of the passive stages built into the Intro to Vitalara Wellness Experience.
Pressotherapy may be a welcome addition to your routine if you've spent long hours on your feet, sat for an extended period, traveled, exercised, run, hiked, or simply notice that your feet and lower legs feel tired or heavy.
It can also be incorporated into a regular wellness routine for people looking to support lower-leg circulation and recovery.
There isn't one schedule that fits everyone. How often pressotherapy is appropriate depends on your individual needs, health history, activity level and the reason it is being incorporated into your wellness routine.
For some, it may simply be an occasional recovery session. For others, it may be incorporated more regularly as part of a broader Vitalara therapy sequence.
Pneumatic compression is not appropriate for everyone. Please tell us before your session if you have a history or suspicion of blood clots, significant heart or circulation conditions, severe neuropathy, active infection or wounds in the treatment area, recent lower-leg surgery, pregnancy, or another relevant medical condition. Your session may need to be modified, postponed, or medically cleared when appropriate.
Twenty minutes. No active movement required. Just sit back and let rhythmic compression give your feet and lower legs some focused attention.
