What this session is

Selected around you, not how much we can add

The question we ask before any infusion isn’t “what can we add?”—it’s “does this make sense for you?” IV Therapy delivers fluids and selected ingredients directly into the bloodstream, but what goes into that infusion matters more than how much.

At Vitalara, the goal isn’t to add as many ingredients as possible or offer the same preselected “cocktail” to everyone.

Some clients come with a physician’s recommendation, while others contact us because they’re interested in IV Therapy and want guidance.

In either case, individual needs and clinical suitability are considered before an appropriate formulation is selected. If IV Therapy isn’t appropriate or necessary, we don’t recommend it.

Why IV delivery?

Direct delivery, when there’s a reason for it

Intravenous administration delivers fluids and selected ingredients directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive tract. This makes IV administration valuable in established medical settings where rapid fluid replacement, intravenous medication or nutrient delivery is clinically appropriate.

At Vitalara, the purpose of an infusion depends on what is being administered, why it was selected, and the individual receiving it. We don’t treat IV Therapy itself as a cure-all.

Direct Administration

Because the infusion enters the bloodstream directly, IV administration does not depend on gastrointestinal absorption in the same way as an oral supplement.

Individual Selection

Ingredients and dosage are selected according to the individual’s needs rather than assuming that more vitamins, minerals or other ingredients automatically create a better infusion.

Professional Oversight

A qualified medical professional administers the IV and remains physically present throughout the infusion.

How the session works

Review. Select. Administer.

01 — Start with what you need

Contact Vitalara to discuss why you’re considering IV Therapy, including whether it has been recommended by your physician or you’re exploring it for a particular wellness need.

02 — Determine what’s appropriate

Your individual needs and clinical suitability are reviewed before the formulation, ingredients and dosage are determined. If IV Therapy isn’t appropriate for you at that time, it won’t be administered.

03 — Settle in and be monitored

Your IV is administered by a qualified medical professional who remains physically present throughout the infusion while you relax in the Vitalara environment.

What to expect

Clinical care, within the Vitalara environment

An IV is a clinical procedure, but the experience doesn’t have to feel cold or impersonal.

During your appointment, the Vitalara space is reserved for you, allowing you to settle into a quiet, private environment while your infusion is administered. Soft lighting, aromatherapy and 432 Hz music help create the same calming atmosphere that carries through the rest of the Vitalara experience.

Your medical professional remains present throughout the infusion, while the length of your appointment depends on the formulation and your individual needs.

The Vitalara approach

More isn’t automatically better

IV Therapy shouldn’t be about filling a bag with the longest possible list of ingredients.

Different ingredients serve different purposes, and an appropriate infusion begins with understanding the individual receiving it. That’s why Vitalara takes a needs-based approach: determine what you’re hoping to support, consider what is appropriate, and select the infusion accordingly.

Sometimes that means IV Therapy becomes part of the plan. Sometimes it doesn’t. The goal is to provide what is appropriate—not simply more.

Personalized wellness

One therapy doesn’t have to do everything

IV Therapy is often incorporated into Vitalara’s 30-Day Personalized Protocols when it is considered appropriate for the individual.

Rather than expecting a single infusion to solve every concern, it may become one part of a broader sequence of therapies selected around the client’s needs and adjusted over time.

When IV Therapy isn’t needed, it isn’t included.

Is IV Therapy right for you?

That decision comes before the infusion

Some people contact Vitalara after IV Therapy has been recommended by a physician. Others reach out themselves because they’re interested in whether an infusion may be appropriate for a particular need.

Either starting point is welcome.

What matters is what happens next: rather than assuming everyone who requests an IV should receive one, suitability is considered before treatment. The formulation, dosage, frequency and duration can then be determined according to the individual and the purpose of the infusion.

Your treatment plan

How often should you receive IV Therapy?

There is no standard schedule for IV Therapy at Vitalara. Frequency depends on the individual, the formulation being administered, the reason it was selected and the guidance of the medical professional.

An infusion may be recommended as a single treatment or incorporated into a broader plan when appropriate.

Professional care

Administered by a qualified medical professional

Vitalara provides IV Therapy in partnership with a qualified medical professional who brings the necessary equipment, administers the infusion and remains physically present throughout the appointment.

This allows the clinical procedure to be professionally managed while the client receives it within Vitalara’s private wellness environment.

Looking for a starting point?

Understand what may fit before choosing a therapy

If you’re unsure whether IV Therapy is the right fit, the Biofeedback Diagnostic Assessment or Comprehensive Health & Wellness Assessment can help identify what your body may actually need first.

A responsible note

IV Therapy is an invasive medical procedure and is not appropriate for everyone. Potential risks can include infection, bruising, irritation or complications related to intravenous access, fluid administration or the ingredients being infused. Medical conditions, medications, allergies and other individual factors may affect whether an infusion is appropriate. Suitability, formulation and dosage should therefore be reviewed by a qualified medical professional before administration.
